Job Advertising Sales Representative

Portland, ME, United States Full Time

We are seeking a business-to-business sales professional with a passion for helping companies both large and small put together effective strategies for attracting the local talent they need to succeed.

  • Own the entire sales cycle to include aggressively prospecting, developing, and closing leads over the phone using a variety of online and offline sources.
  • Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales goals.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the digital product portfolio (features, benefits, rates, etc.)
    and be a passionate brand ambassador!
  • Understand, demonstrate and explain to new and current customers the value that our products have over the competition.
  • Understand how the competition sells their products and services, including rates and specials.
  • Keep records of products sold to customers and look for ways to increase advertiser spend.
  • Create solution-based needs proposals based on information provided by the customer.
  • Actively pursue and maintain an understanding of current trends in the recruitment industry.
  • Analyze and interpret key sales metrics and develop strategies to reach sales success.
  • Use CRM to analyze and forecast.
  • Work with support teams to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
  • 3-5 years B2B sales experience.
  • Proven track record of success driving sales (i.e., ability to capture and close the deal).
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities; demonstrated time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • CRM experience.
