Sales & Marketing Ops

San Diego, CA, United States Full Time

The Sales & Marketing Ops person will be in the data/business intelligence zone, contributing to the success of inside sales teams as well as executive team for reporting purposes. You’ll report directly to the CEO and collaborate daily with our product, sales, marketing, business development, and dev teams.

A little more about the role, and what is expected:

  • Provide single source of the truth for all data for the entire company
  • Design data architecture for the company’s sales and marketing teams
  • Gather requirements from all stakeholders, shop for and recommend the right systems
  • In collaboration with functional heads, design dashboards/reports to be able to track KPIs
  • Provide regular data updates to the dept heads in a consultative fashion
  • Search for data anomalies and/or trends that could help improve performance


  • CRM guru and admin (currently using Hubspot but considering changing)
  • Marketing automation admin experience (HubSpot or similar)
  • CRM admin experience (Salesforce or similar)
  • Experience architecting data structures and shopping for software
  • Experience analyzing large data sets and working with functional heads to improve overall performance


  • Experience with cloud-based BI tools (Looker, ChartIO or similar) preferred
  • Experience with cohort analysis
  • Strong understanding of web analytics (Google Analytics and MixPanel) and customer conversion tracking
  • Customer success ops guru and admin
  • Experience architecting data structures and shopping for software


  • 3-5 years in a similar role
  • Excellent math and analytical skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
